So my little bro and his buddy decided to make a rather large fireworks/bomb combo and blow it up tonight - and considering I helped peel the gun powder and fuses from the shitty little sprigs they sell at stands these days, they figured I'd be a great "get-away" accomplice. I'm afraid I can't tell you everything that was in it, because I sure as hell can't remember and didn't pay attention, and wasn't there for the initiation of this creation.
So we drove the minivan and we headed out to the railroad tracks. Only, the fuse lit improperly and we ended up relocating, only to get bashed on by this groady-looking mom who threatened to call the cops on us for trespassing in "public parking" and walking through a bunch of dead grass by the parking lot.
And thus, we went to the second nearest middle school, with a lovely open field and underbrush coverage not 20 feet away from the detonation zone, and no annoying cameras or people.
While I fussed a bit over my bro lighting a single 1-inch fuse and booking it before it exploded completely, it went quite swell. The field acoustics pitched the boom as if Zeus would tear open the sky himself and shoot lightning bolts out of his ass. Only the bottom was left and a small crater that cleared the grass was quite visible even as dark as it was.
Nevertheless, we took a wide circle back to the car, still ran into some loveydovey highschool crepes (oh yes, crepes), before driving home with a hilarious video of my little brother kicking dirt so hard he was probably airborne for all 20 feet he got away from the explosive.

It was fun, and even though it's not really my thing, I have no problem going and watching people blow stuff up. It's quite stress relieving. There are obviously pros and cons to where this conversation could go, but its midnight, and I don't feel like detailing.

And cinnabuns.

Ooohoho ho ho ho ho ho cinnabuns. How I crave all 1,000 calories of your sugar smothered fluffy golden buttery pastry goodness.
